Powder Room Makeover – Design Board

I am so excited to be sharing my next makeover plan with you today! I was planing on giving our powder room a makeover for quite some time. This space is quite big for a powder room, but as of right now it still has the ridiculous red painted walls, which makes the room visually smaller.

My vision of this bathroom is, a contemporary little space, that fits with the rest of our home. Project timeline: 6-10 days, with a budget of $500.

Powder room makeover

I really like the oil rubbed bronze look, that’s why I decided to keep our fixture and the outlet covers. We will also install new flooring, a vanity, and I’ll be adding paneling half way up.

I will brighten up the room, by giving the walls a new coat of paint. After that I’ll be installing the new floor along with the paneling.

We are also planing on installing a new light fixture, mirror, shelves, a child friendly toilet seat, some wall art and extra storage.

I’d like to add a vanity to the powder room in order to have a little more storage, preferably a small dresser or console. I have been all over town trying to find “a vanity”, this past week with no luck! I really hope to be able to find something before we start with our powder room makeover project, which will be in 14 days.
