2014 has been an incredible second year for Oh Everything Handmade, and I have a feeling that 2015 will have lots of new and exciting projects. But before I jump into 2015, I like to look back and share five of my favorite 2014 projects!

IKEA HACK

IKEA Karlstad Cushion Hack

[one_half] I’ve always dreamed about owning a tufted sofa, but did not want to spend $1000’s of dollars!!!  [/one_half]

[one_half_last] With this project, I wanted to give my Ikea Karlstad sofa cushion’s a new look while also preventing them from sagging. I’ve always dreamed about owning a tufted sofa, but I did not want to spend $1000’s dollars!!! The idea first came to me while changing the sofa covers when I realized that the cushions looked quite boring, and all they needed were some buttons. This makeover has been a great success on our blog, and we can even help others transform their sofas with our ready-made Ikea Karlstad Cushion Buttons. [/one_half_last]

OFFICE SPACE

Office Space Makeover

I cannot tell you how much I hated my office initially, with its green-colored walls and outdated curtains – it was one of the dingiest spaces I have ever seen. But with a little bit of paint, some furniture makeovers, and rearrangements. The room turned out to be one of my must-see rooms in the house.

NEW KITCHEN

Kitchen Remodel

Kitchen Remodel

[one_half] Our kitchen remodel was OEH’s biggest project, it took us 2 months to complete. While spending only a bit over $4,000. [/one_half]

[one_half_last] I am so proud to admit the completion of our first kitchen remodel; I love everything about it, from the unique Fireclay tile backsplash to the Dark Walnut Butcher Block. It was a lot of work, but I loved to hang out in this kitchen and prep our daily meals. [/one_half_last]

Coffee Table

Coffee Table Makeover

As soon as I saw this coffee table, I knew I had to have it. It had a perfect size and shape; the project was affordable enough to re-finish. I love how unique and colorful it turned out.

Goodwill Find

Goodwill Find transformation

[one_half] What a fun little project this was!  [/one_half]

[one_half_last] This goodwill item was such a lucky find. I don’t even remember why I went into goodwill; all I remember was grabbing this ottoman and heading back home. It only took me one day to transform it from awkward to super cute! [/one_half_last]
